I don't know where to start! What should I use?

First of all, welcome to our community if you're new to us! We'd love for you to start off by reading some of our blog posts. Our favorite post for beginners is here. This post will run through suggested routines! In general, we recommend using a cleansing, toning, and moisturizing routine every morning and night. If you are new to oils, we would recommend checking out this post to see how best to get started.

How long does it take skin to get used to cocokind products?

Everyone is different, but it can take up to 6-8 weeks for your skin to become adjusted to new products – especially if you have never used oil-based products, or are transitioning from conventional skincare products. For more information on how to smoothly introduce our oil-based products in general to your skin, read our blog post that has tons of tips for beginners! In general, we'd recommend starting off slow and introducing new skincare products at night, while keeping other lifestyle factors as *constant* as possible!

I received my cocokind products, and my serum and cleanser were slightly solid. Is this normal?

It seems your cocokind products may have become slightly solid during transit. Fret not! This is completely normal. We use organic virgin coconut oil in a few of our products, which can be impacted by the surrounding temperature! When it is under its melting point of 76 degrees, the oil can become a solid. Here are few ways you can quickly get you product back to liquid form:

1) Place the bottle in a bowl of warm water for 3 minutes.

2) Run the bottle under warm water for 20 seconds

3) Place the products by a heater for a few short minutes

Once the product is back into liquid state (which should happen quickly), shake it up! This will get our products back to being 100% liquid and ready to use. After this initial step, the serum and cleanser will stay liquid as long as they are kept in room temperature…and you can get started reaping the benefits from our nutritious skincare!

Are cocokind products safe to use while pregnant?

Our products are safe to use during pregnancy, but we always recommend checking with your physician for specific concerns! We only use clean and gentle formulations. When we use essential oils, they comprise less than 1% of the overall formula. We also have a baby line (great for both babies and mamas!) which does not include essential oils at all.

Does cocokind add any synthetic fragrances?

We do not add any artificial fragrances. Occasionally, we use organic essential oils to add a scent profile to our skincare. Our essential oils not only smell good, but they also serve their own purposes for our skin and minds!

Are your products safe for acne-prone skin?

We are strong proponents of using oils for acne-prone skin. While everyone's skin is different, we have a variety of oils that cover all skin types. Additionally, we have acne-targeting products such as our Raspberry Vinegar Toner, Turmeric Spot Treatment, and Chlorophyll Mask!

If the cocokind product name says organic, is it USDA certified organic?

Yes! All of our products that contain the word “organic” in its name, in addition to our cocokind collective sticks, are USDA certified organic by CCOF. Please contact us at if you need a copy of our certificate.

Are cocokind products vegan?

All of our products that do not contain organic beeswax are certified Vegan Action through the Vegan Awareness Foundation. For more information please check out

Is cocokind 100% cruelty free?

We are a cruelty-free company. Cocokind products are NEVER tested on animals! We also ensure our vendors and suppliers are compliant with our cruelty-free philosophy.

What is the shelf life of my product?

In general, our products have shelf lives of between 18 months to 30 months. While it is best to use up a product within six months of opening, storing them in a cool, dry place, and using clean hands to obtain the product, always help maintain the integrity of the shelf life. On every product box, we list a expiration date. Shipping + Returns Questions

What is cocokind's return policy?

Oh no! We’re sorry to hear that our products didn’t work out for you. We do offer a full refund for online orders within 30 days of delivery. Products must have been purchased through our online store, and be in new or gently used condition. 


Please keep in mind: We do not refund original shipping charges. All gift cards and trial products are final sale.


To move forward with a return request, please email with your order number and the items you would like to return. 

How much is shipping?

We have free shipping in the United States for orders over $50. For orders under $50, we have a $6 flat fee for U.S. shipping addresses. 

Canadian Customers

Unfortunately, any orders that exceed $20 USD may be subject to import duties and fees, taxes and any other charges. If your order requires these additional charges, they must be paid by you in order for your package to clear customs. Cocokind does not collect any duties and/or taxes and we cannot predict what your charges may be. Once your package reaches customs in Canada, it is handled by Canada Post which does not provide international tracking. It is common for packages to be marked as “Delivered” only to arrive later. Cocokind would like our customers to be aware of these factors before placing an order with us.

How long does it take to receive my order?

If you're located in the U.S., our typical shipping time is 5-8 business days. If you've chosen expedited shipping, you can expect your order in 2-3 business days. 

Do you ship internationally?

Unfortunately, we are unable to ship outside of the United States and Canada at this time. However, a limited selection of our products are available on Free PeopleTarget, and Lucky Vitamin.

What should I do if I received a wrong item or an item arrived damaged?

We apologize for the inconvenience! Please email us at with your order # and we will send you a new/replacement product ASAP, as well as a return label if need be!

I got a notification that my order was delivered, but it wasn’t. What should I do?

We’re sorry for the confusion! We’ve had instances where the tracking information updates too quickly, and a delivery notification is sent 24-48 hours prior to the package actually arriving. Keep an eye out for the next day or so, and let us know if it doesn’t arrive within 48 hours after the delivery notification is sent so that we can assist you further!
