We had the amazing opportunity to work with the talented team at UC Berkeley’s student-run magazine, BARE. As a local Bay Area brand, we constantly work to connect with our neighbors and fellow creators. After meeting some of the students at BARE, we knew we needed to collaborate!
We packed our bags with cocokind products and headed to UC Berkeley for the day. Down a quiet hall in the Anthropology Department building on campus, we were met with a gorgeous, sun-light studio, and about a dozen hard-working students setting up backdrops, light equipment, and blasting indie music. Enter: their first time trying cocokind.
The theme of this shoot was “BARE-faced beauty” – and our models NAILED it. We started by cleansing their faces with our Cleansing Oil, and removing any eye makeup with our Eye Firming Oil. Then, we toned with our Rosewater Facial Toner and followed up with a variety of facial oils depending on the models’ preferences – Golden Elixir and Matcha Face Moisturizer were the favs of the day. A few touch-ups with the MACABEET and MYMATCHA Moisture Stick, and they were good to go!

We prepped Sam’s skin with the Cleansing Oil and Rosewater Toner, and followed up with the Golden Elixir as a base moisturizer, highlighting her cheekbones, nose, and forehead with another layer.
Josh moisturized with our Matcha Face Moisturizer and highlighted his cheeks with our Golden Elixir.
Don’t forget to stop and smell the roses – especially when your skin looks THIS good.
Devyn is wearing (and spraying) our Rosewater Facial Toner. She added our Golden Elixir to her beautiful curls for some extra hydration!
Diego is also rocking the Golden Elixir and MACABEET. He even put a little bit of the oil into his hair to shape his curls!
