it’s here! *cocokind daily SPF sunscreen*

clean, lightweight, and made with non-nano zinc oxide!

For the past few years, cocokind’s most frequently requested product has remained the same: sunscreen. Well, the wait is finally over! We’re excited to introduce you to daily SPF, our clean, lightweight mineral sunscreen.

Our SPF 32 formula is unique in that it helps defend skin against more than just the sun. daily SPF uses non-nano zinc oxide to block UV rays from reaching the skin, thus helping prevent sunburn and skin damage caused by sun exposure. Our formula also uses blue phytoplankton and microalgae to shield skin from the effects of blue light and pollution, while rice starch absorbs excess sebum, giving our formula a soft, natural-looking finish.

Basically, our formula helps protect against sunburn, skin damage, early aging, and environmental stress, while also delivering a natural-looking finish with a lightweight, non-greasy feel. It also layers seamlessly under makeup (if you wear any)!

how do I use it?

Use daily SPF as the last step in your skincare routine after moisturizing but before makeup! Apply generously 15 minutes before sun exposure and reapply at least every 2 hours.

From what I can tell, the main ingredients in this sunscreen are mineral-based and pregnancy safe. I’d just like to confirm that all ingredients, including the minor ones, are as well. Looking for effective, pregnancy safe sunscreens is a challenge!

@Lindy – great question! This product is still fragrance free – we use bisabolol for its conditioning benefits, but it just also happens to have a floral scent because it comes from chamomile.

Additionally, the term “fragrance” in skincare usually refers to scents containing ingredients that brands are not technically required to disclose publicly (and which they often don’t, because they can contain phthalates, allergens, and more). Hope this answers your question!

Does the use of bisabolol make this product not fragrance-free? I am doing research on many skin care products and brands before I commit to any, and I learned that fragrances are not preferred in skin care products because they are irritating. So my main question is will this sun screen have a fragrance that will irritate my skin?
