highlighter? or bronzer?

i initially bought it as a bronzer, but found it works better as a highlighter because it is shimmery, not matte. would have preferred to use it more as a bronzer, but oh well, love it anyway

Love it!

Perfect color, just the right amount of shimmer. It doesn’t last all day, but it is quick and easy to apply/re-apply

Great even on lighter skin tones!

I stayed away from the Chagaglo for awhile due to how dark it looked. I was concerned with my pale complexion that it would be too dark or too hard to blend in. Well, my wonderful husband bought it for me for Christmas and I am SO glad he did. I've been playing around with it for a few weeks and figured out how to make this bronzer/contouring stick really work for me. When applied directly to my skin, I found it a little too dark (for my liking) and I just couldn't quite blend it out to be discreet enough for my minimal makeup look. However, putting the Chagaglo on my fingers and then patting it into the areas where I want contouring or bronzing worked much better and gave me the look I was hoping for. Overall great product! I will second the comment below mine, a matte version would be super cool to see at some point too!

Like it, but I want to see a matte version!

I have light-medium skin tone with sensitive skin. I found my chagaglo highlighter to be a little bit more shimmery than my mai-light highlighter, and the slightest bit more emollient than my mai-light. I like that there's no coconut oil (doesn't break me out), it's incredibly easy to blend out once warmed up, and wears well on top of my moisturizer + physical sunscreen (I don't wear much foundation on my cheeks though). Both chagaglo and mai-light give a more 'healthy, natural glow' look (where it's subtle in person, but easily catches light).

My preference would have been if the mai-light had a bit more shimmer, and the chagaglo had less of it. I would seriously love if cocokind came out with a version of the chagaglo with no shimmer (for those more minimal dewy skin days where I just want mai-light to glow me up) and a lighter-coloured (light champagne or pearl?) highlighter colour with more added shimmer to give better glow-payoff. That being said, I would still buy mai-light again, but perhaps would look for a regular contour stick with no shimmer. It'd be hard to find something of cocokind's quality with a matching price though.
