So, without further adieu, welcome to our first stop – THAILAND. We were inspired to put together an all-natural spot / acne treatment with some incredible Thai flavors! Let’s meet the ingredients…

1) Coconut Milk

History: Coconuts are an integral piece of Thai culture. Every piece of the coconut is used for something — meat and milk in cooking (hello Thai curry), the oil as a skin moisturizer or hair conditioner… even the shell is dried and carved to make decorations and jewelry!

Skin Benefits: When it comes to skincare, coconut milk makes for an incredible anti-inflammatory ingredient.Lauric acid and monolaurin both work to kill bacteria, fungi, and viruses on the skin that may cause irritation or breakouts… not to mention, it smells and feels AMAZING.

2) Ginger

History: Ginger has been used as a homeopathic remedy for years in Asia. Ginger is known to balance hormones, aid digestion, and act as a pain killer…it’s a superplant!

Skin Benefits: Ginger is an incredible antiseptic and cleanser. It kills acne-causing bacteria, minimizing blemishes and promoting glowing skin.

3) Lemongrass

History: This stalky, lemon-scented plant adds the unique lemon-like flavor found in many Thai dishes. It has been used in Asian medicine for years as a pain and fever reducer.

Skin Benefits: Lemongrass essential oil has antibacterial, antiseptic, and astringent properties. As such, it prevents and CURES breakouts and skin infections, making this oil the perfect finishing touch to our Thai spot treatment.
